The LIGHTHOUSE EFFECT is the music component of the World Trust Foundation, which is created to foster musicians and artisans around the world. The Lighthouse Effect is focused on “shining a light” upon organizations around the world who create a culture of peace, which has been one of the main features of the World Trust Foundation since its inception. The Lighthouse Effect Concert Tour is therefore a not-for-profit program to connect with global artisans as the tour proceeds to global outreach, which is, therefore, a tax-deductible donation.

Lighthouse Effect draws its name from the metaphor of a lighthouse. Lighthouses shed light on the sea and on the surrounding areas, so that those who are sailing along are given a focal point in order to arrive at their destination.

Lighthouse Effect: is designed to be part of a larger purpose. The music will highlight organizations that are currently functioning as ‘lighthouses’ in their local communities giving them recognition for their hard work an opportunity to build awareness and support global organizations, to facilitate cross cultural and cross border work.

In September 2011 a song that was written and produced by World Trust Founder, Tess Cacciatore, was nominated for an award in the HOLLYWOOD MUSIC IN MEDIA AWARDS in the category of World Music. This song "Politics of Love" is a hip/hop world beat song that showcases vocalists and drummers from Congo, as well as super star musicians and singers from the states who are commited to the cause. The proceeds will go to raise awareness and funds for women and children of the Congo who are challenged on a daily basis with abuse and atrocites to their souls. For more information check out Stand UP Movement to hear the song and watch the film presentation that Tess filimed while in Africa in 2010 to get the word out on what was happening in Africa.

The music connection is due to music being the common pulse of all cultures and is driven from the original box set WORLD JAM 1 - which was a 4 cd box set of interactive music (containing 47 artists from around the world) produced in 1994 by Founder, Tess Cacciatore. She produced this box set, which was the beginning of World Trust Foundation.
