The World Trust Foundation's mission is to mentor future leaders and empower the youth of the world to lead the creation of a sustainable future.
The World Trust Foundation has led retreats, education sessions and mentorship programs to inspire and equip young people as leaders in the creation of a sustainable just world since 2000.
World Trust Foundation is dedicated to the future of our planet and to inspire youth to have their voices heard.
YOUNG LEADERS NETWORK (ages 15-25) Launched on Inauguration Day 2009, with a "Your Voice - Your Choice" contest. Ghana led the way with 70 winning entries, so they are the first annual winning country. Several programs have launched in Ghana and in 2012, the young leaders will join forces with youth from the United States to become part of a YOUTH COUNCIL that is launching in Iowa. Iowa Knowledge and Leadershihp Coalition EARTH HEROES (ages 9-17) is a program that has existed since 2000. Hundreds of thousands of youth have been impacted over the years in the areas of environmental education, social activism and creative expression. This year we are working on our next level of National Citizenry to get youth and their communities involved in green initiatives. Iowa youth will lead the way with their earth gardens and science/art projects that will tell the world the changes they see for their future.
World Trust is part of the Iowa Knowledge and Leadershihp Coalition, bringing Iowa youth to the forefront to lead the way during the election year and many years to come. We are a non-partisan organization, however we empower the voice of the youth to be heard!.

Media and technology are the conduits for communication between cultures. The World Trust Foundation creates opportunities for collaboration between young people, individuals, corporations, educators and other non-profit organizations. Advanced web-based technologies now make it easier than ever before to build the global partnerships that World Trust has helped foster since 1994.

World Trust’s live workshops, conferences, and empowerment camps are being made available to larger and larger audiences through web-based communication. Now, more young people than ever before have the opportunity to become the authors of their own lives and leaders in their communities.
As technology brings the world together, building understanding between people of different cultures and nations is essential to ensure that advances in communication technology are used for peaceful rather than violent purposes. World Trust now offers scholarships for members of the Young Leaders Network around the world to travel to different nations and encounter cultures other than their own.
We also believe that once racial understanding is on the forefront of our youth's minds, there could be a chance for a world of peace. Therefore, through our programs we offer scholarships for our YOUNG LEADERS to travel on project missions around the world to meet those from other cultures and countries.
